During 2022, I decided to enroll in both the UX Design and Project Management Certificate programs offered by Google, with the intention of adding new professional skills while enhancing the ones I already attained. Below are projects I completed for both certificates demonstrating the knowledge I learned through each program.

  • Movie theater snack app

    This proposed mobile application was made for a fictional movie theater Galaxy Theater, in an attempt to raise sales of the theater’s snacks to movie-goers.

    The main flow focus of this project was adding snacks to a user’s cart and checking out both before and during their movie watching experience.

  • FirstVote App

    This proposed mobile application was made to allow first time voters to access information and resources regarding voting in the U.S. in attempt to increase voter turner out rates through out the country.

    The main flow focus of this project was allowing users to register to vote for upcoming elections.

  • Makeup Mania, Inc. Website

    This proposed responsive website was made in an attempt for makeup enthusiastic of all levels to be able to access the latest makeup trends, tutorials, and product reviews to enhance their skills and knowledge for all things makeup.

    The main flow focus of this project is for users to be able to access makeup tutorial videos for those wanting to enhance their skills or wanting to try the latest trends.

I decided to enroll in the Google Project Management: Professional Certificate program, which allows professionals to learn how to manage projects using traditional and agile methods, create project documentation, and develop strategic communication skills. As part of the program’s capstone, I had the opportunity to practice applying the knowledge and skills I had learned through the courses by observing a project manager in a real-world scenario
